The book, an art object. The cover embodies all criteria of the task: structures and breaks. The cold structure of the steal cover breaks with the soft foam letters. In the middle of the cover and every sheet, there is a tear. It looks like a canyon, that divides every single picture. The first part of this book, consists of macro-photographs of everyday life objects shot by my collegue Stefanie Weissmann. The second part shows vector-graphics of everyday life imaginations, daydreams and feelings. I sampled a few vector graphics over and over again to create a contiguous series.
