This 3D short is all about a strange black magnetic fluid which is influenced by an electromagnet. This magnetic field becomes an instrument of the music and its energy is directly transmitted to the fluid. This causes the fluid to transform and switch between the magnetic field and the basin. This animation is dedicated to the installation "Protrude Flow" by Sachiko Kodama and Minako Takeno, as seen at the Ars Electronica Festival 2004. The animation was created with Maya 6.0, the screen animation and the compositing was done in After Effects. The Sound is taken from "This Might Hurt" by Oliver Johnson aka Dorian Concept
