Tulse Luper Crabcrawls Game
Moccu
Flash Game development, part of Peter Greenaway's crossmedial told story
February 2006
-
Moccu came up to our university to ask for students to develop flash games for a project called "Tulse Luper". The director Peter Greenaway wanted to create a film that doesn't end at the theater. He is telling the Tulse Luper story through different channels: film, books, and the internet. The story is about a guy called Tulse Luper, who gathers items in suitcases. Till he died he filled up 99 suitcases all over the world and every suitcase is bound to a particular story. The idea behind the online game The Tulse Luper Journey is to find and collect as many suitcases as possible. My collegue Christoph Sonnleitner and I developed the game for the Crabcrawls suitcase. The Tulse Luper Journey won the "Europrix Top Talent Award" in the game category
